Doctor of sciences, professor, holder of the “Badge of honor” order, laureate of the Gold Nesmeyanov medal of the Russian academy of sciences.
Prof. Rybinskaya was an outstanding Russian scientist. She became well-known for her studies of β-ketovinylation, π-olefin complexes, binuclear σ,π-complexes, as well as organometallic chelates and clusters. She had also developed the universal method for synthesis of cationic π-complexes under acidic conditions and studied mono-, di- and three-cations of methylated metallocenes. Together with Prof. Kudinov she had synthesized first triple-decker complexes of iron group with the central cyclopentadienyl ligands. Prof. Rybinskaya had organized the laboratory of transition metal π-complexes of INEOS RAS and headed it till 1998. She had also organized five All-Russian schools on organometallic chemistry.
