Doctor of sciences, professor, the head of the laboratory of metal carbonyls of INEOS RAS (1976–1987).
Prof. Kolobova was a leading expert in the field of organometallic chemistry. She had carried out the fundamental investigations of the metal carbonyls and their derivatives. In particular, she had discovered alkyne-allene rearrangement and had synthesized first complexes containing terminal and bridging vinylidene and allenylidene ligands. Prof. Kolobova had worked in INEOS RAS since the foundation of the institute in 1954 and had published about 240 papers and 12 patents.
